Seth Chapell
Consultant
Seth began his career with FCI in 2007, after receiving a degree in Dairy Farm Management from Vermont Technical College, and a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Vermont, including a semester at the W.H Miner Institute. Seth gained a passion for the dairy industry while working on local dairy farms as a youngster. His passion grew into a successful career, and he is now considered to be one of the premier dairy consultants in Northern New England and New York. Seth is a skilled nutritionist and a valued member of the dairy farm community and FCI Team.
Al Fortin
Consultant
Al is a consulting dairy nutritionist for Feed Commodities International LLC. He has been involved with direct dairy consulting and sales from the Detroit Maine location since his graduation form the University of Maine in Orono with a BS in Sustainable Agriculture. In his 20 plus year career he has been involved with nutrient management planning, crop consulting, and whole farm nutrient planning, and currently he is focused on providing constative dairy nutrition services to the dairy industry. Al has held a Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) certification and he is currently recognized by the American Registry of Professional Animal Scientists as a Professional Animal Scientist (PAS) by the with a Certified Feed Management Planner endorsement. Al is the 3rd generation of his family to have been involved with dairy farming; growing up on the family dairy farm in Benton Maine.
