Locally owned and operated, our experienced FCI team is comprised of nutritional consultants, mill operations, and office support staff working together to provide you with the best advice in the dairy industry to attain your farm’s goals. Bob Grim
General Manager
Bob joined the FCI management team as sales manager in 2013. He became FCI’s general manager in 2016. Bob, a seasoned professional, has been working in the Northeastern dairy industry since 1988, most notably as a dairy feed consultant for many years with Bourdeau Bros Inc. He is responsible for day-to-day leadership and general management of the company. Bob has an “open-door” policy for both FCI employees and customers. You are as likely to see him on the farm as in his office. “I am honored to be in the service of dairy producers and farmers, and pledge to do my level best to help our customers succeed”.
David Blow
Chief Financial Officer
David joined FCI in December 2017 with 30 years of experience in Accounting & Information Services. He grew up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, Illinois where he attended Harper College taking courses in Accounting & Information Services. David and his wife Leslie moved to Vermont in 1998 where has worked for Ben & Jerry’s, Hubbardton Forge & most recently Country Home Products.
Frank Raymond
Operations Manager
Frank started in the Vergennes mill unloading rail cars and loading trucks in 1999. After a few years, he then moved into our bag truck making bag deliveries in Vermont, New York, and Massachusetts. Frank went on to serve as assistant manager of the Vergennes mill for 3 years before being promoted to mill manager. He managed Vergennes for about 4 years before being asked to move to the Middlebury office to head up the inventory control for all of FCI. Frank has managed Q/C & Q/A, inventory, and managed operations during personnel gaps. He now serves FCI as our Operations Manager.
Irma Higgins
HR Manager
Irma joined the FCI management team in 2016 with over 20 years of experience working in Human Resources. She earned her BA in Psychology at University of City of Manila, Bachelor of Laws from Far Eastern University, and Diploma in Human Resource Management from College of St. Benilde. Irma's role is to help the management team strategically manage their people as business resources. This includes advising on recruiting, hiring and employee relations, coordinating employee benefits, suggesting manager and employee training and development strategies, and complying with labor laws and regulations.
Jim Torrey
Purchasing
Jim has over 40 years in Agribusiness including management positions in farm supply, farm services, crop services, and feed manufacturing. He is currently responsible for the purchasing of the major ingredients for the manufacture of feed at FCI’s 5 feed mills.

Robyn Bannister
Credit Manager
Robyn is a local to the Middlebury Vermont area and has worked in Accounts Receivables for more than five years before joining Feed Commodities. Her background in equine agriculture and years spent as an active member of FFA give her an understanding of the challenges farmers are often faced with, which she applies to the management of our customers and their accounts with us.
Laura Harthan
Technical Support & Product Development
Laura joined FCI in fall of 2016 and provides technical support to the sales team and is responsible for product development and implementation for all of FCI's locations. She received her BS in Animal Science from Cornell University, her MS at the Ohio State University, and has completed her PhD coursework at Virginia Tech. Laura grew up raising dairy goats and backyard beef and poultry, and has worked in agriculture since she was 15 years old.
